Missions:
Our church missions outreach is supported through our "SMILE" program (SMILE is an acronym for Sound Missionary Investments Launch Evangelism).
SMILE is funded through non-budgeted free-will giving. 2020 fund distribution will be to:
Our Children’s Church supports a child (Jeyarubini) in Sri Lanka through Compassion International. The children correspond to her, and letters from Jeyarubini are read during worship.
We are heavily involved in Operation Christmas Child each year through Samaritan's Purse Ministries.
- Sunday morning classes available for children of all ages
- Children’s Church for children (cradle through grade 5) during morning worship
- Wednesday evening Family Night activities and classes for all children
- Various special children’s activities and events throughout the year (group outings, Children’s Choir or Christmas/Easter Musicals, etc.)
- Children’s summer camping program available through New Life Camp, Rose City, MI
- Week-long "Day Camp" held together with other Waterford evangelical churches in August
Youth Ministry:
- Sunday morning classes for Middle and High School youth each week
- Weekly Wednesday evening youth group meetings and activities
- Scheduled youth activities, including larger gatherings with other local evangelical groups
- Summer camping program for Middle and High School youth available through New Life Camp, Rose City, MI
- Opportunities for involvement in larger events in Michigan or beyond, including rallies, mission trips, and youth conferences, (such as “Dare to Share” in Columbus, Ohio).
Adult Ministry:
- Sunday morning adult class (studies through books of the Bible or topical studies)
- Mid-week Bible Study (studies through books of the Bible or topical studies)
- Eighteen-month discipleship program “Equipping the Saints” trains and equips believers
- Women's Bible Studies (Tuesday mornings)
- Financial Peace University: 8 week video plus class sessions on financial management (annually)
- Adult fellowship nights held at specific times during the year at church or in member's home
- Fellowship activities and events throughout the year, including softball, bowling, golf, skating, picnics, and much more
Music Ministry:
- Solos, duets, trios, quartets, or instrumental solos are included most Sundays during worship
- Congregational singing is a blend of hymns, choruses, and contemporary music with video projection
Community Outreach:
- We hold annual luncheons for local nursing home residents, and volunteers use our church van to transport them to our church for Sunday worship once a month.
- We have a monthly Pantry Sunday in which our children bring canned goods and non-perishables forward during worship. These are donated to a local food pantry (Open Door).
- Volunteers from our congregation currently take part in training and ministry at Crossroads Care Center in Auburn Hills.
- Our congregation, when made aware of specific needs, adopts a local family in need during the Christmas season, providing gifts for children and their parent(s).
- We make friendly visits to residents in the communities surrounding the church. We let them know about FCB's priorities, activities, and ministries, and issue an invitation to anyone looking for a church home, and especially those searching for spiritual peace as found in the Gospel.

- Crossroads Care Center (60%) - located in Auburn Hills, is pro-life Christian organization reaches out to women in crisis pregnancy situations and many related areas.
- Samaritan's Purse Disaster Relief (30%) - mobilizes and equips thousands of volunteers each year to provide emergency aid to U.S. victims of wildfires, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters.
- Oakland Hope (10%) - located in Waterford, is a Christian outreach ministry. Their objective is to reach a wide range of needs through human services (material, spiritual, etc.) to underemployed residents of Oakland County.
